Your Media Kit: The Document That Closes Partnerships While You Sleep

Your media kit is the document that sells your partnership value when you’re not in the room.

Your media kit is the primary document that brand marketing managers use to evaluate whether your partnership is worth pursuing. It arrives in their inbox alongside their morning emails, gets 45–60 seconds of attention, and either makes a compelling enough case for a follow-up meeting or doesn't. Most creator media kits don't — because they lead with the wrong information.

The structure of a media kit that closes deals:

Section 1 — Your Creator Story: One paragraph describing who you are, who you serve, and what makes your content and audience valuable. Lead with your audience's profile, not your biography. Brands are buying access to your audience — describe that audience first.

Section 2 — Audience Demographics (the most important section): Age breakdown. Gender split. Top locations. Audience income bracket if known. And critically — an "audience portrait" paragraph: "My audience is primarily 28–38-year-old women in UK cities, earning £35,000–£60,000, working in [field], actively interested in [your niche], and with demonstrated purchasing behaviour in [relevant category]." This is what marketing managers need to justify budget allocation to their finance teams.

Section 3 — Platform Statistics: Followers, engagement rate, average views, growth trend. Engagement rate is more persuasive than follower count. Include it prominently with a screenshot of your analytics for credibility.

Section 4 — Past Partnerships (if applicable): Brand logos, campaign results. If early in your career, include audience testimonials about products you've naturally recommended — social proof of audience trust is relevant regardless of formal brand deal history.

Section 5 — Services and Starting Rates. Build it in Canva. 1–4 pages. Match your content aesthetic.
